Documents: Former day care worker slapped child, 1, in the face
The former day care worker accused of child abuse allegedly threw a 1-year-old child into a crib and slapped him with an open hand, according to court documents. Hannah Bunce, 63, of Mechanicville, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. The incident appeared to be an instance of corporal punishment.
Ballston man gets 4 years in prison for setting apartment on fire
A Ballston man has been sentenced to 4 years in prison for intentionally setting his apartment on fire. David A. Fink, 27, was arrested on Aug. 29 after police said he started the fire at an apartment complex on Dominic Drive at about 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday.
