Dawn Premo benefit is May 16
A Come Show Love For Dawn Premo Benefit will be held May 18, 1-4 p.m., at Pike Bay Town Hall, 15514 Hwy. 371, Cass Lake. This benefit will help defray medical costs for Dawn, due to her Stage 2 lung cancer diagnosis. She is currently being treated at Joe Lueken Cancer Center with chemo, radiation and immunotherapy. Oratory Contest winner speaks at Legion
Minnesota Legion Oratorical Contest winner Elijah Cox was the speaker at the Walker Legion Membership dinner. He delivered his winning contest presentation to the Legion members who were very impressed with this young man’s delivery. Cox, a sophomore, will be competing May 17-19 in Hillsdale, Mich., at Hillsdale College in the Legion National Oratorical Contest.
