Community Church, Walker, announces coffee house concerts

The Community Church of Walker (UCC) will be hosting two concerts this spring in the social hall before the summer Gazebo Concerts begin. All free-will donations will go to a charity. Complimentary coffee and treats will be provided.

The first concert April 28 at 6 p.m. will feature Ryan and Joanne Pels, with all donations going to the World Central Kitchen WCK is a not-for-profit, nongovernmental organization devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters. WCK is first to the front lines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate and community crises.

The second concert, May 19 at 6 p.m., features Linda and Ken Barber. All donations will go to Paws and Claws Rescue and Resort in Hackensack. Paws and Claws is a no-kill 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal shelter and boarding facility. Their mission is to save animal lives, educate youith and complete families.

Gazebo Concerts will be starting in June, with the schedule coming out soon.
