CAROLINA BEACH (WWAY) — With summer approaching, many are beginning to hit the beach to catch some waves. That also includes our four-legged furry friends. In Carolina Beach on Saturday, a few owners brought their dogs out for a chance to participate in the 9th annual Surf Dog Experience. With the help of some instructors, dogs were able to get on a surf board and ride some waves. Hundreds of people packed the beach, with many cheering on their favorite “surfers” as they took on the competition.
