Arrest made in May shooting
An Odessa man was arrested late Sunday night in connection with a May shooting. According to an Odessa Police Department report, officers received a shots fired call around 2:30 a.m. May 13 in the 2700 block of Keystone. When they arrived, they saw a black Chevrolet Silverado leaving at a high rate of speed with its hazard lights on and they followed it to Medical Center Hospital.
Four suspects facing robbery charge
Four people were arrested Saturday after an Odessa man said he was attacked by a large group of people over a debt he owed. According to an Odessa Police Department report, the alleged victim told police he received text messages asking him to mow a lawn in the 300 block of Foster and that when he arrived, he was escorted into the back yard by five men and two women.
Odessan stabbed, facing assault charge
An ex-convict was arrested on multiple felony charges Saturday after being accused of trying to shoot his former girlfriend. According to an Odessa Police Department report, Michael Roy Guzman Jr., 38, and his former girlfriend got into an argument June 3 when he went to pick up some of his belongings from a home in the 2700 block of Redwood Drive.
Missing Brazos County man found deceased nearly 400 miles away from home
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Family members tell KBTX that Troy Luce was found deceased following a multi-day search that spanned hundreds of miles across the state. Mr. Luce was found in the city of Midland around 8 p.m. Tuesday on a jogging path behind a shopping center and his truck was later located stuck in mud at a nearby oil rig site.

Three fire departments join forces to put out Midland fire
MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Midland Fire Department joined multiple departments in putting out a fire in the northeast area of Midland on Wednesday night. According to reports, at 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12 the fire departments responded to a fire in the 5000 block of East County Road 60. Midland Fire joined forces with the Northeast Volunteer Fire Department and the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department in taking care of the trailer fire.
