KBI investigates officer-involved shooting in Haskell Co.
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred Sunday morning around 1:50 a.m. A Haskell Co. deputy attempted to make a traffic stop at the intersection of Hwy 83 and Hwy 56 that then led to a pursuit. The pursuit proceeded to Hwy 144 after the deputy requested help. After turning east on Hwy 144 in an effort to perform a U-turn, the subject’s car struck the deputy’s car and came to a halt in the north ditch.
