Pasco deputies looking for man who grabbed child, said ‘go with him’

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said it is searching for a man who grabbed a child and told them to “go with him” on Monday evening.

The sheriff’s office said the “suspicious incident” happened in the Southview Drive area of Zephyrhills around 8 p.m.

A child, who was not identified, told deputies that they were riding their scooter when an unknown man approached and grabbed them. The child said the man told them to “go with him.”

Deputies said the child took off on the scooter after the man started chasing them. Eventually, the man stopped and walked away.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect is described as a thin, tall Black man with a mustache. He was wearing ripped jeans and a backward black hat with “yellow and green money signs.”

Deputies said the child was not hurt.
