YORK, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A film crew will close down a street near downtown York Thursday evening, the city leaders say.

According to the city, College Street is closed to through traffic and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area. Officers will assist residents of the street with access.

A rebate check could be on the way for South Carolina residents. Where is the $1.8B coming from?

The Film Pool Films production company is filming “pickup shots” for the movie “God’s Not Dead 5.” They were in town previously at Trinity United Methodist Church filming and are back to get some remaining footage for the film.

The “God’s Not Dead” series began with the title film in 2014, and has featured actors Kevin Sorbo, Melissa Joan Hart and William Forsythe.
