Beaufort Police investigating shooting that hospitalized one person
BEAUFORT, S.C. (WCSC) - Multiple suspects were arrested overnight following a shooting that left one person injured Friday evening. At 6:29 p.m., the Beaufort Police Department reported a large police presence on the 1300 block of Talbird Road. They had earlier been responding to the area of James Street and Depot Road following reports of shots fired.

Walterboro man sentenced to 60 years for murder of his ex-girlfriend

Two out of three missing juveniles located
In an update provided by the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, two runaway juveniles have been located safe. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office had requested assistance in locating a runaway juvenile, Kimberly Rutland. Rutland is 16 years old and ran away from home April 16, 2024. Rutledge was reported found safe by CCSO April 18.
