New videos, documents provide insight into crash of Cincinnati Fire Engine 24
CINCINNATI — WLWT uncovered new details about a crash last month involving Cincinnati Fire Engine 24. A Metro bus driver was at the intersection of Glenway Avenue and Rapid Run Road when the fire engine crashed in front of her. According to records released via a public records request, seven cameras on the Metro bus were rolling when the driver crashed.
Demolition of area bridge set to begin, will be reconstructed by late 2025
CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Demolition of an area bridge that's approximately 100 years old is set to begin on Monday. Plans call for it to be reconstructed by late fall of 2025. The Brighton Approach Bridge was built in the mid-1920s and is showing widespread and significant deterioration to structural support beams and columns. About half of the current bridge is supported by the abandoned Cincinnati subway tunnel.
