Monroe Center 3rd grader leads fundraiser for local K-9 unit
MONROE CENTER, Ill. (WIFR) - A 3rd grade student at Monroe Center Grade School organized a fundraiser for a K-9 unit with the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office. Ainsley McCarthy started a fundraiser called “Dress for a Donation” for Deputy Kyle White and his K-9 partner, Gator. Ainsley’s event encouraged students and staff to donate money in exchange for special dress-up days at school.
