Kitty Kat, Wildcat Tracksters Advance to Area

On April 4, 2024, the Yorktown Kitty Kat and Wildcat track teams competed in the District 31-2A Track Meet in Woodsboro, Texas. Besides Yorktown, the following schools competed; Kenedy, Port Aransas, Refugio, Skidmore- Tynan, Three Rivers and Woodsboro. The JV Girls won their division, while the JV Boys placed 7th. The Varsity Boys placed 2nd overall and the Varsity Girls placed 5th.

The top four finishers in each event advanced to the Area Track Meet on April 11, 2024, at Texas A&M - Kingsville.
