Santaquin officer killed in crash, suspect in custody
SANTAQUIN, Utah — The suspect of a semi-truck crash that killed a Santaquin police officer this morning is now in custody. The suspect, Mike Jayne, was possibly armed with a stolen firearm and stole a white F150 to flee from police. Gov. Spencer Cox posted on X that the suspect had been captured.

SALT LAKE CITY — A person was hit and killed by a FrontRunner train in a suspected suicide on Saturday, the Utah Transit Authority said.
