Local health care providers discuss gaps in Bitterroot Valley services
Nearly 20 representatives from health care organizations, social services and other community resources gathered recently to discuss gaps in health care access across the Bitterroot Valley, with the lack of a local mental health crisis center emerging as one of the most pressing concerns. The meeting was organized by June Mlsna, representing United Today, Stronger Tomorrow (UTST), a grassroots community organizing project that works to bring rural communities together to identify local needs and advocate for solutions.
