Carnival Shooting Trial Start Faces Possible Delay
Jury selection in the murder trial for the man accused of fatally shooting a man at the end of last year’s Carnival Parade is being delayed. The judge presiding over the case rescheduled the process for a later date to accommodate a hearing over evidence to be admitted at trial.

Konner Davis killed this buck with a 20 6/8-inch inside spread and 22-inch main beams on Jan. 22, 2024 in Kelly, La. The buck’s G2’s measured 9 7/8 inches. He had been after this buck most of the year after seeing him on his game camera. The Duke’s Hardware Rice Bran and the Mathews Tri-Ax was more than enough to seal the deal on his late season buck.
