Highway 4 construction is underway
MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - As April winds to an end, construction season is beginning anew, with projects starting up across Minnesota. One of the larger projects is actually two: Highway 4 from Sherburn to St. James and St. James to Sleepy Eye are technically two separate projects that together span nearly 50 miles of Highway 4.
LCWM softball ranks No. 4 in class 2AA

BEA boys shut out Worthington 7-0 in tennis
The Blue Earth Area boys tennis team booked another 7-0 victory over the Worthington Trojans on Tuesday, April 23. Joe Frundt represented the Bucs against Ian Barber at No. 1 singles. The pair fought a contentious match, with Frundt taking the first set, 6-2, and Barber turning the tables to win the second set, 6-2. A lengthy third set eventually went to Frundt, 10-6.

USC approves a $270k playground
