A new interview with Trey Anastasio has surfaced via the Burlington Free Press. In the piece, which dropped today, Friday, April 26, the Phish frontman opens up about his own trying times with drugs and monumental refocus through recovery and treatment. In turn, the musician has used his experience to open a new facility aimed at helping folks through their own struggles, Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program, located in Ludlow, Vt.

“Faces of Mass Incarceration” at Gallery at the VAULT
SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Gallery at the VAULT presents “Faces of Mass Incarceration” by Rein Kolts, from May 3-24. This show is a moving collection of portraits accompanied by poetry and short prose from men imprisoned at Southern State Correctional Facility (SSCF) in Springfield, Vt. The artist, Rein Kolts, is himself an inmate at SSCF.
Teen open mic at Chester Town Hall Theater
CHESTER, Vt. – Aspiring musicians (solo, duo, or trio), singers, dancers, and poets, ages 13-18, are invited to perform at Chester Town Hall’s second-floor theater on Saturday, May 4, from 6:30-8 p.m., before an appreciative audience of neighbors, friends, and family. Each artist will have 10 minutes to perform. If time allows, performers will be given a second set.
