Woodcreek High’s boys’ tennis team capped off its season with a trip to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II semifinals where they lost to top-seeded Mountain House, 7-2. Mounted horse patrols should not be implemented at Texas State
In fall 2023, the University Police Department (UPD) announced the implementation of mounted horse patrols starting in spring 2024. San Marcos man charged with illegally carrying a gun at protest on UT Austin campus
Austin Police have filed charges against a San Marcos man accused of illegally carrying a gun during a pro-Palestinian protest on UT campus last month, court records show. Police said Michael David Maule, 26, violated state law by "intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly" carrying a gun without a license on a school campus. He was charged with a third-degree felony.
