PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Gionnah Levardi went 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs Monday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 9-5 win over Mount Anthony. Isabella MacDonald was 2-for-4 with a double, and Amanda Pou doubled and drove in a pair of runs in a nine-hit attack for the Generals.
Hurricanes Rout Chicopee
ADAMS, Mass. – Izabela Tart went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 19-1, five-inning win over Chicopee. Alayna Shears, Hannah Lord and Rachael Wnuk each doubled, and Gracelyn Wright went 2-for-2 with a triple in a 14-hit attack for the Hurricanes.
Wahconah Uses 14-Run Inning to Pull Away from Mount Greylock
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Kenadi Arnhold drove in six runs, and the Wahconah softball team Sunday scored 30 runs for the second time in four days, beating Mount Greylock 30-10. It was Wahconah’s third straight game scoring in double digits and its fourth straight win overall to improve to 7-4. Coach Dustin Belcher was happy to see his team finish the game strong, retiring six of the last seven Mounties to come to the plate and turning a 4-6-3 double play in the bottom of the fifth.
