Tifton child struck by SUV now in induced coma, family says
TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - A Tifton child who was struck by an SUV while leaving school on Tuesday is now in an induced coma at a hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Isaiah Silva, 5, began running across a crosswalk from Len Lastinger Elementary School around 3 p.m. on April 23 when an SUV hit him, according to a GSP report.

TIFTON, Ga. – Tift County Schools confirmed that on Tuesday morning, a student at Northside Elementary School reported to a teacher that another student was in possession of a weapon in their bookbag.
