Hans, Totten lead Wildwood past Pleasantville - Baseball recap
Wildwood tallied its fourth consecutive win with a 5-2 victory over Pleasantville in Wildwood. The Warriors spotted starter Junior Hans a four-run lead right off the bat in the first inning. Hans was terrific during his 6 1/3 innings on the mound, allowing two runs on two hits and five walks with six strikeouts to get the win and also scored two runs for the Warriors.

A mom from New Jersey was drunk when she fell asleep holding her infant son, causing him to suffocate, according to a published report. Michelle R. Stanton, of Lower Township, New Jersey, was charged late last week with manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the death of her 6-month-old son Christian Canty, noted Advance/SILive.com sister site NJ.com.
