ST CHARLES, Mo. — What's believed to be the world's oldest form of alcohol will soon be served at a brewery in St. Charles. Interested drinkers can soon pick up some mead, otherwise known as honey wine, ambrosia, and the "drink of the gods," at the aptly named Mead Hall during the spot's grand opening on Saturday, June 15 from 4 to 9 p.m. at 2236 1st Capitol Dr. St. Charles residents may already be familiar with Mead Hall from their frequent appearances at the St. Charles Riverwalk Market.
