Mayor Adams urges residents to do due diligence when hiring contractors for storm cleanup/repairs
Mountain Home Mayor Adams is urging residents affected by last Sunday’s tornado to be on guard for scammers when hiring companies to help remove debris and do home repairs. In an announcement yesterday morning, Adams urged residents to use licensed and insured contractors for work on their property, while also warning that post-storm scammers tend to offer “quick and easy” repair jobs in exchange for an immediate deposit into their bank account.
