After months of anticipation, Brood XIII periodical cicadas, which have been hanging out underground since 2007, have busted out in massive numbers across northern Illinois. — Juvenile cicadas are popping out of their holes and shedding their exoskeletons. Those are the spent shells people are seeing on blades of grass, buildings, plant stems — basically any surface the cicadas could cling to during the molting process.
McDonald's adds new ‘Grandma McFlurry' onto menus for a limited time
Last year, it was the Grimace Shake. This year, it's a new McFlurry...or maybe, an older one?. The limited-edition treat, called the "Grandma McFlurry," hits McDonald's restaurants in Chicago and beyond May 21, a press release said.
