Tracey comes to this election with a very impressive track record of accomplishments. She has worked as teacher in Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut. She was the director of the Early Ed.
Wiscasset officer’s kindness
The Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team would like to thank Wiscasset police officer Nathan Willhoite. Officer Willhoite assisted us one recent evening when we were returning from a match at Carrabec High School. Our bus ran out of gas several miles before the Wiscasset town office on Route 27. Officer Willlhoite went to his own residence to retrieve a five-gallon can of gas, which he brought back and emptied into our fuel tank.
Wiscasset needs Maloney
Wiscasset faces a tidal wave of challenges. Bill Maloney, with his remarkable ability to analyze situations and propose practical solutions, is the man to tackle them. Wiscasset Senior Center
The next public supper will be June 5. The menu will consist of minestrone soup, salad, garlic bread, cheese ravioli, and ricotta cake. The cost is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Bags program to benefit HYS in June
St. Philip’s Help Yourself Shelf (HYS), 12 Hodge St., Wiscasset, has been designated to receive the proceeds from the Boothbay Hannaford store’s Fight Hunger Bag program for the month of June. Each time a patron buys a Fight Hunger bag, $1 is given to HYS to help ease food insecurity. With ever increasing costs and more people seeking help from the Shelf, each and every dollar is quickly put to use in that effort.
