Ryann Woods, 8, loves wildflowers. She lights up every time she sees a field filled with blooming flowers. Her grandmother, Rhonda Weaver, immediately thought of a photo of Ryann smiling in a field of bluebonnets when she decided to enter the Fort Worth Report’s wildflower photo contest, which ran in March and April.
