Four winning $100,000 Mass Cash tickets were purchased at different convenience and liquor stores across Massachusetts on Saturday. One was purchased at Haverhill Quick Mart on Main Street in Haverhill, one was bought at Cape Mart on Center Street in Hyannis, one was purchased at Lank’s Liquors on Truman Parkway in Boston’s Hyde Park neighborhood and one was bought at Stop & Save on Center Street in Middleborough. The tickets won the game’s largest prize.

MATTAPOISETT — A May 8 rainstorm has resulted in the closure of certain shellfishing areas in Mattapoisett. The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries announced May 9 that portions of Buzzards Bay in Mattapoisett, New Bedford, Dartmouth and Fairhaven no longer met the criteria to be open to shellfishing due to combined sewer overflow.
