A bus driver for the Hopewell School District in Beaver County has been suspended for having a gun on him while he was transporting students. Update: Allegheny County under a flash flood warning Saturday morning
On Saturday at 7:06 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated flash flood warning in effect until 8:45 a.m. for Allegheny County. "At 7:06 a.m., trained weather spotters and law enforcement reported flash flooding occurring in numerous areas across Allegheny County. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring," states the weather service. "Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas."
