Man Sentenced for Human Trafficking in Berks County
HARRISBURG, PA – Hector Rivera, 52, has been recently sentenced to serve 33 and ½ to 69 years in prison following his conviction on 15 charges, including human trafficking, by the Berks County Court. As part of his sentencing, Rivera is required to register as a tier one sex offender. The sentencing follows an investigation by the Office of Attorney General and the Pennsylvania State Police which revealed Rivera’s pattern of preying on a vulnerable young woman, luring her with drugs, and threatening her with violence. Woman charged for death of abandoned dog and puppies in Berks County, police say
