RPD Detective Bureau Arrested Three Individuals In The Theft Of Edible Bamboo
The Town of Ramapo Police Department Detective Bureau arrested three individuals “stemming” from two incidents of the theft of over $3,000.00 in edible bamboo from the yard of a residence in the Village of Wesley Hills. The first incident occurred on 05/11/2024 when two suspects stole bamboo. On 05/20/2024, the two suspects from the first larceny returned with a third suspect, and again over $3,000.00 in bamboo was stolen. The defendants, all from Brooklyn, NY, were charged with Grand Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and Trespass. They were arraigned in Wesley Hills Court and released pending a future court date.
