Melbourne man shot several times by suspected burglars in home, police say
MELBOURNE, Fla. – A man was shot early Thursday morning after finding two suspected burglars in his Melbourne home, according to the Melbourne Police Department. Police responded around 12:30 a.m. to the 2600 block of Coventry Road, where they found the victim on the front porch with several gunshot wounds.
