A Silver Alert has been issued for George Earl Kelly, a man from Copiah County, Mississippi, who was last seen on November 29th. Three teenagers from Crystal Springs are facing charges of motor vehicle theft and kidnapping after allegedly stealing a pregnant woman's car with her children inside. The public is invited to visit the new Wesson Police Department in Wesson, Mississippi, during an open house on December 9th.

Two incidents occurred in Lincoln County, Mississippi this week. In the first incident, a one-vehicle wreck resulted in the death of a Lincoln County woman. The driver lost control of the Dodge truck, causing it to slide off the road and collide with trees on the passenger side. The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment. In the second incident, a Black former delivery driver filed a lawsuit against two white men and his former employer, FedEx. He alleges that the men shot at his work van and pursued him in a high-speed chase. The lawsuit seeks $5 million in damages.
