Build-up of old food residue on nonfood contact surfaces of soda dispenser: Restaurant Inspections, May 17, 2024
The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has posted an updated list of recent Retail Food Inspection Reports for restaurants and food handlers in Berks County. Inspections are a “snapshot” of the day and time of the inspection. Violations are recorded but are often corrected on the spot prior to the inspector leaving the facility. Berks County Taco Fest returns to Reading
Berks County's Taco Fest returned Saturday for its 5th year. The event went on despite rainy weather at Quinta las Cabanas Grove in Reading. A wide variety of taco food trucks from around the area were on hand. There was also live music and activities for the kids.

SPRINGFIELD — Kate Kreider and Brett Albert named their shop Rumspringa Books as a nod to a period of adolescence and exploration. As the only members of their family who’ve left Manheim, much less the rest of their native Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Kreider says her 95-year-old grandfather jokes that she and Albert are on a permanent rumspringa.
