Lawsuit filed over Oklahoma County jail inmate's death
The latest lawsuit over the Oklahoma County jail alleges "gross deficiencies in staffing, facilities and procedures" are to blame for an inmate's death from fentanyl. Eddie Garcia overdosed on the drug at the jail on May 12, 2022, according to an autopsy report. He was pronounced dead at a hospital early the next day after being found on unresponsive in his cell.
