Safe Sitter for ages 11 – 13 is 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. June 14, June 21 and July 12 at Bon Secours St. Francis Eastside. The cost is $65 per child. The class covers information on how to handle emergencies, major and minor. Students listen, practice and role play to learn about a variety of topics, including safety precautions, rescue breathing techniques, recognizing emergencies and calling for emergency help. Safe Sitter also covers the childcare basics: how to feed and diaper an infant, what behaviors to expect with each age group. AI and education: Schools grapple with challenging technology
