Chatham Town Meeting Rejects Airport Map
CHATHAM -- An updated map of the Chatham Municipal Airport flight path was rejected by town meeting voters Monday. The action has no impact on the actual flight path used by aircraft taking off and landing at the airport, which is controlled by the Federal Aviation Administration. The new map would have reflected the current FAA-mandated flight path, and would have replaced a 1958 map that officials had failed to update as the flight path changed over the years,
