WEIRTON, W.Va. ( WTRF ) –Three people are dead and one person is in the hospital after a shooting in Weirton this weekend.

On April 20, 2024, at approximately 12:20 a.m., officers with the Weirton Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Miami Avenue in reference to a shooting within the home.

Upon entering the home, police say they found two deceased women, identified as Jordan Bettino, 25, and Zoe Antoniou, 26. Both had gunshot wounds.

A third female victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance with gunshot wounds, according to authorities.

Authorities say the suspect of the shootings, identified as Brennan Bailey, 33, was also found dead in the home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

This incident is being treated as a murder-suicide and is still an ongoing investigation, authorities say.

The Weirton Police Department responded with assistance from the WV State Police, Hancock County Sheriff’s Department, Weirton Fire Department, and the Hancock County Ambulance Service.
