Kemp Strikeouts 12 Warhawks to Advance in the State Tournament
The Henderson County Lady Colonels faced off against the Great Crossing Lady Warhawks in the Opening Round of the KHSAA FastPitch Softball State Tournament in Lexington. Lady Colonels sophomore pitcher Anna Kemp would strike out 2 of the 3 batters she faced in the top of the 3rd inning. Mural painting underway in downtown Morganfield
MORGANFIELD, Ky. (WFIE) - A mural depicting historical figures and scenes is being painted in downtown Morganfield. Officials with the Green River Area Development District say the project was first conceived in 2019 as a dream of Morganfield Mayor Randy Greenwell after meeting with artists Steve Kindrick Lane and Rebecca Vincent.

Lane shifts begin Saturday on US 41 in Henderson as part of I-69 Ohio River Crossing project
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — Traffic will be shifting to the new crossovers on Highway 41 from 2nd Street/KY 351 to the US 60 interchange in Henderson this weekend. Northbound traffic will be shifting west to use the southbound roadbed early Saturday morning. Short-term rolling closures are expected early Saturday to finalize the traffic shift.
Police: Man who ran into house arrested again after moped crash
