Event center price tag goes up, but officials remain optimistic
WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - The price tag has gone up for the massive event center being planned in the town of Watertown. Town of Watertown supervisor Joel Bartlett says the Thousand Islands Event Center is now projected to cost around $92 million. That’s up about $7 million. Regardless, he says it is still a go.
