Waterbury Police investigating body pulled from Fulton Park pond

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) – Waterbury Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a deceased body removed from the pond at Fulton Park Thursday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the scene at 438 Cooke St. around 8 a.m.

Man dies after apparent hit-and-run in North Branford

Upon arrival, the body was pulled from the pond and confirmed deceased. Police confirmed that the victim has been identified as a man and that they are investigating the incidnet as an untimely date.

There don’t seem to be any suspicious conditions involving the incident at this time.

The incident is still under investigation, police said.
