President Joe Biden received an endorsement the North America’s Building Trades Unions on Wednesday, and a major flub made in remarks at the organization’s legislative conference in Washington was actually met with applause.

At the end of a 30-plus minute speech, Biden read a little too much on his teleprompter, saying, “Four more years. Pause.”

The flub was immediately met with a “four more years” chant, which had also opened the union talk.

During his speech, broadcast by The Hill , Biden celebrated signing a foreign aid package bill for Ukraine and called for wealthy Americans to “pay their fair share.”

“Like it or not, we’re the leading country in the world. The rest of the world looks to us. I see an America where we defend democracy, not diminish it,” Biden said.

The president recovered from his “pause” flub quickly enough.

“Are you ready to move forward?” he asked the cheering crowd, adding he’s “never been more optimistic” about the future of the country.

Conservative pundits still capitalized on the clip, referring to Biden as “Ron Burgundy.”

Many in the crowd on Wednesday wore pro-Biden shirts and waved campaign flags.

The president also took multiple shots at his likely November opponent, Donald Trump , on Wednesday.

“Donald Trump’s vision of America is one of revenge and retribution, a defeated former president who sees the world from Mar-a-Lago, who bows down to billionaires and looks down on union workers,” said Biden.
