2 men, 2 boys hurt in stabbings throughout the District

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating multiple separate stabbings that happened over the course of eight hours throughout the District on Tuesday.

The first happened in the 1700 block of Rhode Island Ave. NE at around 2 p.m. A man was found conscious and breathing. MPD said they had a suspect in custody.

Another stabbing happened at around 7 p.m. in the 1200 block of New York Ave. NW. There, a man was found – he was also conscious and breathing.

Hours later, two boys were stabbed in the 2600 block of Stanton Rd. SE just after 10:35 p.m. They were taken to a hospital while conscious and breathing.
