Lienholders launch appeal against court ruling on former Adirondack Club and Resort property in Tupper Lake. At the same time, the quest to reopen Big Tupper gains momentum. The lienholders who lost their hold on 5,800 acres surrounding the former Big Tupper ski area have moved to appeal the state court ruling that would allow it to be sold. LOWVILLE NEWS: A trap shoot and Railway Historical Society news
The Beaver River Fish & Game Club, located at 8290 Bush Road, Croghan, will host a 50-bird trap shoot on Saturday, May 11. Sign-up will be at 8 a.m. and shooting will be at 9 a.m. The cost is: $20 for target classes, including AA, A, B, C, D, ladies, sub-junior (12-14-years-old), junior (15-17), veteran (65-69) and senior veteran (70 or older); $10 for Lewis; and $5 for 25’s. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, sausages and fryer foods will be available in the kitchen. The shoot is an event by the Northern Tier Trap League.
