Upon arrival, a witness provided video surveillance of the incident, which showed Tina Lorie Ford, 45 of Hollywood, MD exposing herself. Fairfax County Police have arrested a man for the attempted robbery and shooting in Bailey’s Crossroads on April 12. Officers responded to a report of a person shot at around 5 a.m. that day in the 3400 block of Lake Street. The victim, an adult man, exited his vehicle when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect displayed a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. Police said a struggle ensued, and the victim was shot in the lower body. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Five identified in string of dating app robberies
On April 22, detectives assigned to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division Robbery Unit arrested five suspects for several armed robberies that go back to April 9. The suspects have been identified as Darius Lerenzo Mearis, 21, of White Plains, Justin Amari Banks, 18, of Waldorf, Jerrell Maurice Grey, 20, of Waldorf, and two 17-year-old males from Waldorf who were charged as adults but whose names are not being released, according to a sheriff’s office press release. ...

No charges after woman allegedly assaulted in Del Ray Sunday afternoon
No charges were filed against a man arrested for a suspected misdemeanor assault and battery on Mount Vernon Avenue in Del Ray on Sunday. A passerby called 911 at around 1:30 p.m. to report seeing a man allegedly position himself behind a woman and then rub “himself all over her” on the sidewalk in the 2400 block of Mount Vernon Avenue, according to Alexandria Police Department dispatches.
