Sag Harbor Cinema Presents: Movie Art and Artifacts
Sag Harbor Cinema is proud to present “Movie Art and Artifacts from a Private Collection,” an exhibition that mixes contemporary art incorporating imagery from movies with artifacts of the movie-making process, such as set designs and props from Apocalypse Now, The French Connection, Psycho, Bullitt, Double Indemnity, The Searchers, Belle de Jour, and other classics. The gallery exhibit will open on Saturday, May 25th, and feature a screening of Vanishing Point (Richard C. Sarafian, 1971) and a book signing of Vanishing Point Forever (Robert M. Rubin, 2024).

As the flowers bloom and the trees green with life, there’s no better way to spend your days than by enjoying the outdoors with your fur family. Sunny beach walks with my dog always make me think of the animals in our shelters who are still waiting to find their perfect fit. There are currently 45 dogs and 56 cats at the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation that are ready and waiting to find their fur-ever families. In an effort to shed light on some furry friends that are available for foster or adoption, SASF will be participating in an Adoption Event at Lenny Bruno Farms in Manorville on May 18th and May 19th. This will be an all-day event and an opportunity to meet a handful of SASF’s adoptable residents.

Susan Capone was driving a 2020 Volkswagen westbound on Jericho Turnpike when she attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot, located at 6070 Jericho Turnpike, and collided with a 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle being driven eastbound at 4:15 p.m.
