The 2024 White Lake Junior Prom was held Saturday, May 4th. The gym was decorated to the theme of Enchanted Forest and the prom court was presented promptly at 8 p.m. This year’s prom court included Queen Kailee H and King Brody K, Princess Selene R and Prince Liandro C, First Attendants Kaileigh K and Alexa L (standing in for Nick B), Second Attendants Taylor M and Nathan M, and Mini Princess Maci H and Mini Prince Nolan S. Class advisors are Mrs. Lundgren and Mr. Kizirian.
Crandon and Merrill thriller ends in 2-2 draw
CRANDON, Wis. (WJFW)- For the second time this season, Crandon and Merrill squared off in girl's soccer. The first time these two teams faced off, it was the Bluejays who got the win in Merrill 2-0. LANGLADE COUNTY — A local invasive species management organization is utilizing a federal grant it received in 2022 to reduce invasive plant species on local landowners’ properties. Softball Game Recap: Crandon Takes a Loss
Crandon fell victim to Coleman and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 15-0 to the Coleman Cougars. Crandon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games. For Coleman's part, Courtney Denruyter made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over four innings pitched. Denruyter has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than 12 strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
