A historic grain mill turned restaurant, the Granary is launching fall cooking classes. The first one teaches fresh ravioli making in October, led by Chef Kris. Class includes wine and a take-home kit of your own ravioli.

John and Joanne Lowell will perform “An Evening of Western Americana” at Cisel Hall at Montana State University Billings on Friday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 at the door, $20 for seniors and military/veterans. I was born and raised in the Eastern Montana town of Sidney along the Yellowstone River. I grew up on a small family ranch that included cows, sheep, pigs and horses. I spent lots of time outdoors, especially doing chores, but always had a love of adventure. Indiana Jones was always my favorite fictional character.
