VISALIA, Cali. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A book fair for grown-ups will be in Visalia this weekend.

The Tulare County Library Foundation will be hosting what they say is a one-of-a-kind fundraiser, where books and brews collide for a grown-up take on the beloved tradition.

According to organizers, there will be an enticing array of books provided by the Book Nook, and there will be handcrafted brews from the 1852 Brewery.

Vendor booths will offer literary-themed treasures and artisanal crafts, and there will be a special edition community brew crafted exclusively for the event.

Organizers say by purchasing a ticket, you are not only treating yourself to an afternoon of nostalgia but also supporting vital literacy and community engagement programs in Tulare County libraries.

The event will be on Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be at 1852 Visalia located at Soccer City 1852 Visalia 707 W. Murray Ave., Visalia.
