Man escapes police multiple times before being shot by officers in Virginia City Highlands
RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Reno Police Department (RPD) has released the footage of the police chase that occurred in Virginia City Highlands on May 9, 2023. On the afternoon of May 9, at approximately 2:50 p.m., an RPD officer spotted and identified Tyler Woolley in a parked vehicle in the area of Mira Loma Park in Reno. Woolley had an active extraditable felony warrant for an arrest for prohibited person possession of a firearm issued from Carson City.

No injuries reported after driver crashes car into building in Sparks
Crews with the Sparks Fire Department responded to the area of Rock Boulevard and Commerce St. after a driver crashed a car into a building. The crash happened around 4:00 p.m. Friday. The City of Sparks says no injuries have been reported but the building sustained moderate damage.
