VBPD investigating deadly shooting early Tuesday morning

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY)– Virginia Beach Police are investigating a shooting that left a person dead early Tuesday morning.

According to police, the shooting occurred in the 700 block of Match Point Drive in the Aspen Apartments around 1 a.m. This is near Holland Road.

EMS pronounced one person dead at the scene.

10 On Your Side’s KaMaria Braye was at the scene and spoke to a neighbor who heard the incident.

“Very soft pops about like five or six times,” the neighbor said. “This was the very first time that someone was killed outside my window.”
